HP Launches Android Based Convertible, AIO

HP has started its Android journey with the launch of two SKUs on the most popular mobile operating system. The company launched SlateBook x2 convertible device priced at Rs 39,990 and Slate All-in-One at Rs 24,990, on Android.

“We have studied the market over the past couple of years and seen the growing acceptance of Android. SlateBook x2 is a notebook cum tablet for mobile customers who have about 70 percent content consumption and 30 percent content creation needs. Slate AIO is ideal for family entertainment and productivity needs,” said Raj Kumar Rishi, Consumer Business Head, PPS, HP.

Equipped with Nvidia Tegra 4 mobile processor, SlateBook x2 features Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 and supports services like Google Now, Google Search, Gmail, YouTube, Google Drive and Google+ Hangouts. Slate AIO features Nvidia Tegra 4 quad-core processor with Android Jelly Bean 4.2 OS, has a 21.5-inch HD diagonal reclining IPS touchscreen and 8 GB eMMC storage.

HP also introduced slew of SKUs on Windows 8 including Split x2 convertible, Envy Rove AIO, Pavilion 11 TouchSmart notebook and Envy TouchSmart 14 ultrabook.

HP Split x2, priced at Rs 64,990, is a convertible device featuring Intel Core processor family, 13-inch tablet and 64/128 GB storage in tablet and 320/500 GB storage in base.

HP Envy Rove is the company’s first mobile AIO with 10-point touch enabled 20-inch IPS HP widescreen HD powered by 4th generation Intel Core i3 processors, 16 GB DDR3 memory, 1 TB SSHD, and Intel HD graphics. It is priced at Rs 69,990. 

The Pavilion 11 TouchSmart notebook, priced at Rs 31,990, offers 11.6-inch diagonal capacitive touchscreen with 10 point-finger gesture support powered by AMD Dual-Core A4, 4 GB DDR3 memory and 320 GB storage.

HP Envy TouchSmart 14 ultrabook comes with Intel 3rd Generation Core i5 processor, 4 GB RAM, 500 GB storage and HD LED-backlit touch screen, and is priced at Rs 64,990.

In addition, the company added Pavilion TouchSmart 20 and Pavilion TouchSmart 23 to its AIO range.
